I've been a TWEAKER all of my life...

​But it's not what you think. It all started when I was young and my Mom would take me thrift-shopping for one-of-a-kind gems, it was like an archaeological dig on the cheap.

She taught me to appreciate beauty, quality, art form, and the secret of "odd numbered” vignettes. My Dad shared his love of woodworking, artisan craftsmanship, quality tools, and attention to detail. From all that, I gained a crazy compulsion to "tweak" things. I always tweak what is broken, fix what is crooked, move knick-knacks around, fluff pillows, and rearranging furniture and décor. I am a DIY fanatic, painting, creating and enhancing spaces to be more aesthetically pleasing - like eye-candy. I just like things to feel and look good... it makes me happy. I often will hear people say that they could tell Carmel had been there, and shifted the energy in the room...

I just couldn't help myself. Over the years I have been labeled many things:
Life Coach, Chaplain, World Traveler, Flea-Market Guru, Real Estate Marketer, Graphic Design Artist, and Mom to four great kids - and was always called a homemaker; now I see it more as a home alchemist. And I've taken all the skills I've learned through the years and applied them to Sweet Spot Staging. It allows me to share the thing that brings me joy; transforming homes into comfortable, welcoming, unique and eclectic spaces. I love to enter a home and see the possibilities, I truly enjoy working alongside a homeowner to delve into their lifestyle, dreams and wishes for a space... that's when the real magic happens.
