A few years ago, I went into the business of flipping homes. It was an eye opening and exiting time! Purchasing homes from auction knowing only a small bit about a property was exhilarating and daunting all at the same time. The moment those keys are in your hand, it is like the moment I was given my newborn baby for the first time; a deep sense of amazement a little terror, and the gumption to make this awesome creature a fabulous part of society!

​The best part of flipping homes is you are the boss and the client. I was able to walk into a home and see the potential. I was able to be creative, take chances, and fail, but also succeed! It was an enormous growth period in my life.

​With each house we took on, there was a HUGE amount of planning and strategizing, searching for the right products, keeping contractors and vendors on timeline, and ultimately turn a profit! Every project was a labor of love, and still to this day one of the best times of my life.

​Once the market turned, I decided to get my real estate license. I still loved homes and wanted to find my niche in the business. Little did I know becoming a realtor would open the door to what I truly love, design.

​I made a network of real estate professionals who took a chance on me and gave me the opportunity to showcase their listings. For the first year, I worked from my home inventory (literally shopped my house and my assistant's house) and started Fouquette Custom Designs. Agents started telling other agents, and the business grew. I am blessed to have started my business by word of mouth and continue to, giving each and every client the best customer service, and design knowledge available.

​Fouquette Custom Designs is a space design company dedicated to assist clients in remodeling, interior home decor and staging. We have the knowledge to inspire first steps in a design update, walk clients through a home remodel, and get a home prepared for selling. Our large vendor base helps bring in craftsmen who are knowledgeable in their trade to make sure the job is done right and with quality
